FreeUI License 1.0

The short version

✅ Use in personal and commercial projects — including games and apps you sell

✅ Modify, recolour, remix, combine with your own art

✅ Use in client work and hand the result to your client

No attribution required — no credits screen, no backlink

✅ No sign-up, no revenue cap, no separate commercial tier

❌ Do not redistribute or resell the assets themselves as stock

An honest note about AI and copyright

These assets are generated with AI image models and then manually layered, named, measured and quality-checked by us. That process matters for how you should think about rights:

Every pack ships a PROVENANCE.json recording which model produced it, when, and what human work went into it. You can read it before you commit to using a pack.

Full terms

1. Grant

Subject to the restrictions below, FreeUI grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, modify, adapt and distribute the assets as part of a product, for both personal and commercial purposes, with no requirement to credit FreeUI.

2. Restrictions

3. No warranty

The assets are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We screen every pack before publishing — reverse image search, a trademark term blocklist, and a font licence check — but we cannot guarantee that a given output does not resemble existing work. You are responsible for your own use.

4. Takedowns

If you believe a pack infringes your rights, tell us and we will remove it — see the takedown page. We remove first and discuss afterwards. No single pack is worth a dispute.

5. Changes

Future versions of this licence apply only to packs published after the change. A pack you have already downloaded stays under the licence bundled in its zip.

Why not CC0?

CC0 would let anyone repackage the entire library and re-host it. The single restriction above exists to prevent that, and nothing else. For every use that involves putting these assets in a product, FreeUI 1.0 and CC0 are functionally identical.
